Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. 2 Tim 2:19
Glory to God! He knows my name! He sees my heart! He hears my voice!
He holds me in the palm of His hand! I am the apple of His eye. He is for me. He loves me. He treasures me. He cherishes me.
He purchased me with His life, His blood. He ransomed me from the grip of sin, shame, fear and death. He has promised to me eternal life by his own death and resurrection.
He guides me with eternally divine wisdom. He recreates in me a new heart, a new mind, a new purpose, a new name. He calls me beloved child, accepted, forgiven, blessed, chosen, blameless, adopted, His pleasure.
And I am sure that He is mine. He has made a covenant, an unbreakable oath, never to leave me, abandon me, or neglect me. He pours out new mercies and fresh grace each day that I might live for Him and know the satisfaction and safety of dwelling in the secret place of the Almighty. He pours out His Holy Spirit into my life to empower me both to desire and to do good, to be a peacemaker, to worship Him with gladness and boldly stand in faith in all circumstances.
This is the marvelous gift of Christmas.....a babe laid in a wooden manger, born to be nailed to a wooden cross, who willingly left his heavenly throne to become for us who will receive Him, Messiah, Savior, Lord of All, Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, God, the Most Holy Son. Halleluia!
Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, my rock, my safety, my deliverer, my king.
NEXT: "T" is for "Tell".
